The IEEE ITSC 2026 will be held in Naples, Italy. Theme: Innovative Solutions for Future Transportation. Authors are invited to submit papers focused on intelligent transportation systems. Submitted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and may be presented in either a long or short interactive presentation format, including posters. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Advanced ITS Mobility Systems; Air, Road, and Rail Traffic Systems; Autonomous Vehicle Systems; Cooperative and Connected Vehicles; Cyber-Physical Systems and IoT; Emerging ITS Technologies and Innovations; Human Factors and Vehicle Interaction; Infrastructure and ITS Technologies; Intelligent Waterborne Systems; ITS Field Tests and Implementation; ITS Validation and Verification; Logistics and Intelligent Freight; Public Transport and Mobility Services; Safety, Security, and Privacy; Sensing, Perception, and Scene Understanding; Traffic Data Analytics and Machine Learning. Invited Sessions: Authors are encouraged to consider submitting their papers to one of the accepted Invited Sessions, which offer focused discussions on timely and specialized topics within the ITS community. Submitting to an Invited Session can help ensure your work reaches the most relevant audience and promotes deeper engagement around your research area. Manuscript Preparation: For detailed instructions on manuscript preparation, please refer to the Author Information Page for comprehensive guidelines and answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs). Paper Submission Portal: Papers for the IEEE ITSC 2026 can be submitted through the Papercept Portal. Page Limit: 6 pages, with an option for up to 2 additional pages (with extra page charge). The page limit includes references, appendices, and any other supplementary content. All papers must be submitted in PDF format (up to 6MB) and must adhere to the IEEE double-column format.
