Overview

The International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE) 2026 will be held in May 20-22, 2026. It aims to connect researchers and practitioners in age and health-related quality of life, focusing on the application of ICT for improving independence and well-being. The conference will be held in-person with hybrid support for remote presentations and is co-located with several other INSTICC conferences, allowing free access to their sessions.

Call for Papers: International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE 2026)

The International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE 2026) aims to be a vibrant discussion and collaboration platform for all those working in research and development, and in companies involved in promoting the quality of life and well-being of people. It focuses on the application of information and communication technologies for helping people stay healthier, more independent, and active.

ICT4AWE 2026 is held in conjunction with ENASE 2026, ICEIS 2026, CSEDU 2026, GISTAM 2026, VEHITS 2026, IoTBDS 2026, CLOSER 2026, and IMPROVE 2026. Registration for ICT4AWE grants free access to these co-located conferences (as a non-speaker).

Although the conference is planned as an in-person event, speakers unable to travel will be allowed to present remotely (hybrid support).

Paper Submission

Authors can submit their work as a complete paper (for publication in proceedings) or an abstract (presented but not published). Complete papers can be submitted as a Regular Paper (completed research) or a Position Paper (work in progress, arguable opinion).

  • Papers must be in English, carefully checked for grammar and spelling.
  • Submissions should address one or more conference areas and clearly indicate the nature of the contribution.
  • Double-blind paper evaluation is used; authors must ensure their submissions are anonymized, with no author details or references that could disclose identity.
  • Only original papers should be submitted. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly forbidden and will lead to rejection.
  • All papers must be submitted through the online submission platform PRIMORIS.
  • Follow the instructions and templates found under Guidelines and Templates.

Publications

  • All accepted complete papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN reference, in paper and digital format.
  • Papers will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library and given a DOI.
  • Proceedings will be submitted for indexing by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DBLP, Semantic Scholar, EI, and Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
  • A short list of revised and extended papers will be considered for publication with Springer in the CCIS Series (final approval pending).
