Overview
The 8th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Information and Communication (ICAIIC 2026) is scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan, and also as a Virtual Conference. The conference focuses on advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) research, particularly the integration and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within ICT.
Call for Papers: ICAIIC 2026
The 8th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Information and Communication (ICAIIC 2026) aims to facilitate the transfer of AI technologies into practical applications, developing intelligent ICT systems, and exploring AI applications for content, platforms, networks, and devices.
The conference will take place in Tokyo, Japan & as a Virtual Conference.
ICAIIC 2026 invites original, unpublished contributions in all aspects of AI in information and communication. Submitted articles must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The conference also welcomes submissions of short papers on early-stage research or development in progress, position papers on new ideas, and industry papers.
Publication
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ICAIIC Conference Proceedings with an assigned ISBN number and submitted to IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and EI Compendex. Additionally, extended versions of selected papers will be published in international journals as a special issue for ICAIIC 2026, including:

- Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (SCIE)

Submission Guidelines
- Format: All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format via EDAS.
- Link: https://edas.info/N32555
- Formatting: Submissions should be formatted with single-spaced, double-column pages using at least 10-point font on A4 or letter-sized pages in IEEE style.
- Length: The maximum length for full papers is 6 pages. Full papers must be at least 3 pages long.
- Detailed formatting and submission instructions will be available on the conference website.
Call for Workshop Proposals
Proposals are invited for half-day or full-day workshops on communication and networking topics. Please contact the chairs, Sungrae Cho and Howon Kim, at srcho@cau.ac.kr and howonkim@pusan.ac.kr.
Best Paper Awards
The best papers will be selected by the technical program committee members from among the regular papers presented at ICAIIC 2026.
